Winging it in the kitchen isn't always advised, but sometimes it works out! Here's a potato recipe I threw together for an impromptu Thanksgiving get-together.
What You Need:
2 cans of Happy Harvest Whole Potatoes
2 tablespoons of grass-fed butter
1/3 cup of heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Redmond garlic season salt (to your taste)
A drizzle of garlic-infused olive oil
(I get all of my groceries at ALDI.)
What you do: Put all of the above in a small pot on the stove and cook on medium heat for about 8 minutes (longer if you like your potatoes very soft). That's it. My husband said these are the best potatoes I've ever made, and they are also the easiest potatoes I've ever made!
The recipe above would likely feed about 4 adults. Let me know if you try it and like it! Or if you come up with a better name for it than "Accidentally Amazing Potatoes."
Also, in case you don't already know, I'm obsessed with Aldi (best prices, hands down) and they also have a "home section" that is adorable. It rivals Target and wins, in my humble opinion.
